KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi on Friday said that Pakistan would host half of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) fixtures in 2019.
Speaking to the media during his visit to the National Stadium, Sethi said that the PCB plans to organise PSL 4’s fixtures in Dubai for Thursdays and Friday, while games on Saturdays and Sundays would be played in Pakistan during next year’s tournament.
“Trust me, I do what I say I would do. Next year, half of the PSL games would be played in Pakistan,” Sethi stressed. He also vowed to establish international standard cricket stadiums in Islamabad and Peshawar.
Commenting on potential International fixtures in 2018, Sethi said that West Indies would be the only team to visit Pakistan for an ODI series.
First season winners Islamabad United will go head-to-head against defending champions Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 3 final at Karachi’s National Stadium.
