Pakistan has witnessed 70 years of militaristic status quo, hence, drifting apart and afar from possibility of a visionary leadership required in order to steer the state of Pakistan towards its deserving place amongst the comity of nations. The nature creates adjustments through events which take into account the distinct historical reality, leading to a course set towards right side of history. Pakistan was achieved through ‘Power of Vote’ as part of moral, democratic and constitutional struggle. The Quaid E Azam and Allama Iqbal were among the precious gifts of Nature. However, Pakistan strayed from its path meant towards success and prosperity as leadership prospects lost ground.

Pakistan gave into periods of darkness where the capacity and capability to resist the forces of militaristic status quo waned. However, nature doesn’t compromise on principles. A country which was attained through sacrifice and struggle was lost in its tracks. Pakistan needed a strong, visionary leadership. As soon as power is snatched away, the forces of nature intervene as part of historical process. This happened in Pakistan but unanimously across the world, too. People witnessed the violation of public interest as part of oppression in the guise of national interest. Since then, resistance has had its own shapes, faces and forces.  In Pakistan, the humiliation of public representatives based on oppressive tactics is now being fought and resisted. The rallying cry of ‘Vote ko Izzat Do’(Respect My Vote) has become the election slogan of the ruling party as it seeks to contest on basis of its performance in terms of development and the uncompromised stand on principles; which people term as ‘deliverance’.

A new attempt is being launched to sustain the ‘dying’ militaristic status quo. The largest political party of Pakistan is being framed as fraud under ‘Cambridge Analytica’ (CA) scandal – in a bid to make General Election 2018 controversial for the vested interest of global militaristic status quo. A reference which has the strength to stand the test of time is the relativity of militaristic status quo to the militarism of pro-Israel NATO. This single point will explain the accuracy of the context of this article.

Brewing media references on Cambridge Analytica are damaging Nawaz Sharif’s (NS) reputation in a vicious manner and smearing PML-N’s integrity too as part of a sinister agenda to ruin its image on global level.  Identified sources are working closely with undemocratic forces to justify CA-NS-private media connection, without possessing or having any shred of evidence. The matter is being exploited by undemocratic forces on global level. The ‘invisible hands’ are utilising it for another type of Panama 2.0 aimed at derailing political & democratic process but aiming to shifting blame on politicians like Nawaz Sharif, who is proving himself to be an emerging statesman with an ‘iron fist’ against deranged status quo.

General observation done in order to check the facts about emergence of recent CA scandals in terms of Election patterns, targeted advertisements on Facebook, paid campaigns and also network of pages/profiles leads to strong conclusion that CA linkage to Pakistan’s political parties is an assumption and the evaluation is supported by realization that ‘No such pattern has been witnessed in Pakistan.’ CA/Companies used data fetched from profiles to target audience with focused content. At least, no such pattern has been seen in Pakistan as part of CA’s actions to extract benefit from global phenomena of digital engines. If anyone makes such a claim, he/she is a fraudster until and unless any form of compelling evidence is presented.

Conspiracy theory articles about Pakistan’s ruling party are being spun for months now in the mean time as CA was being tracked. They have been debunked as the Maryam Nawaz Sharif club has given open challenge to bring forth the evidence. Despite the existence of these ridiculous claims against PML-N election campaign, there were zero targeted adverts by Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Pakistani social media. Isn’t that the evidence against the claim itself?

CA or any such firm or data has not been used in Pakistan as per trend analysis. CA got data and then ‘targeted campaigns’ were designed while no such campaign has been seen in Pakistan. Journalists who follow or create such propaganda have no courage or guts, nor any research skills as they follow an agenda-based alt-media narrative. Reality is different and stands apart as such developments are put out of context and content i.e., studying the type of posts, articles, authors and the pattern of distribution reveals that such false narratives are nothing but mere wishful thinking and lies.

Global journalists and media houses or outlets who take the profession seriously do not indulge in fake innuendos and neither attach nor attribute any importance to such nonsense. In fact, the proponents would be known fraudsters or embedded liars, linked with a propaganda network and working for puppet-masters. Contextual involvement of such elements on global scale is without question an understood fact. The FIA, government or any other agency for such matter would require evidence in order to investigate. Aren’t the aiders and abettors of anti-democracy faction involved in it? Are they trying to skip the accountability by shifting the blame on to the ones who are constitutionally responsible for accountability across the board?

Moeed Pirzada supported the logic of Panama decision on basis of reasoning that it would bring Executive function under mechanisms of accountability and that it was need of the time as Pakistan had set prime and pioneering example of such a case for the first time in the whole Muslim world, where Executive is all-powerful and has no ‘check and balance.’ Nevertheless, did such mechanism of accountability deliver or work? Now, he has tweeted about alleged linkage between CA-NS-Private media as nexus of potential threat against Pakistan’s political and democratic system. Such judgements should not go unaccounted: change or rage?

The world does not buy it nor does it sustain the unnatural position of supporting militarism. An example is FATF status of Pakistan.  The deep state represents establishment (hailing from any section of society).

The aim of the foreign forces who seek to expose Cambridge Analytica at this moment in time have an endeavour to capture digital devices of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the space of global village. EU has gone to the extent of unveiling its plan to levy digital tax on Facebook and Google. Where does Pakistan fit in and what circumstances/ does it face in the context of hybrid and fifth generation information warfare i.e., at a time when Russian President Putin endorses Elon Musk’s statement that the country which leads in AI will also rule the world? Pakistan lies at crossroads, not ‘cross-swords’ (Geo-economics define geo-politics; similarly, democratic diplomacy reject militarism or militaristic status quo). Nevertheless, the question posed in this paragraph would only invoke nonsense replies from those who claim ‘Judge, Jury and executioner’ is right and on the other hand, would shamelessly put blame on the civilian leadership for not being responsible enough to make a stand or somehow attain a favourable position in regional or global affairs. This is the mindset of global Militaristic Status Quo i.e.,  devour all resources and not be accountable in its lust for war; turning blind eye on the importance of technological advancement in terms of AI.  The ‘invisible’ forces knew about the fraud regarding the lines on which Cambridge Analytica worked but did nothing. Strategic policies based on these lines of plan of action have no alignment between goals and objectives and hence, stand as loser every time. Non-existence of AI plan and anti-democratic policy spells unsustainability – a death knell to any people in contemporary era.

Aside from conscience of international community bringing nations closer to reality, such false narratives are now being insulted, challenged and rejected on major scale. Pakistanis are rapidly realising the game plan and have observed that reality is entirely different. Sense-perception and assumptions have been replaced by experience. Deep state cannot retain its militaristic status quo for long. The preferences and priorities of global village are geo-economic, not geo-political. In Pakistan, the risk to geo-economic paradigm is from ‘uncertainty,’ which comes from ‘political instability’- recognised as most important element in terms of the relevant context as per existing conditions and dynamics of Pakistan.

In a country like Pakistan, Cambridge Analytica has a ‘role in the story’, with similar flow to Panama files. It is exploited by global forces that want to snatch away power from elements that serve public and national interest in the context of emergence of all-emerging and all-encompassing rise of ‘Democratic-diplomacy.’ Attempts will be made to demean the democratic forces. Ruling party and opposition will fall from grace. People can predict the pattern.

The only considerable result in terms of opportunity cost is that Pakistani public will not know the importance of AI in technologically-advanced digital world. Pakistani people have to stand up to claim their moral, democratic and constitutional right. This article is more relevant in context of Pro-Israel NATO. The terms ’militaristic status quo’ and ’militarism’ is a reference to that oppressor who lusts for war with Russia and China while does not back from forcing America to surrender on policies. Pakistan’s civil-military leadership has no option but to draft a plan that would lead to successful strategic policy as Israel advances from regional to global military dictatorship. Strategy is about winning; AI is the best material bet.  This step is possible through a single line of leadership with no parallel – as in China and Russia.
