LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal was on Monday briefed about high profile cases at NAB office in Lahore. Director General NAB Shehzad Saleem briefed Javed Iqbal on cases regarding Punjab companies scandal, while records of major companies in the province were also presented before the chairman. It was told, however, that several companies have not submitted their records before the probing unit yet. Moreover, an investigation report regarding the Ashiana Iqbal Housing Scheme scandal, including briefings on several illegal housing societies, were also presented. An inquiry report on allotment of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) plots was also presented before the NAB chief. In his remarks, NAB chairman ordered the dignitaries present during to meeting to speed up the investigation and conclude the cases as soon as possible.
