DUBAI: Season one champions Islamabad United will face Karachi Kings on Sunday in Dubai for a place in Pakistan Super League season three final. Islamabad United, who accumulated a total of 14 points in the group stages with a 3-point day light between them and second place Karachi Kings, will square off against the latter for a place in the final. The two teams squared off against one another in PSL’s final group stage fixture on Friday, but stakes would be high for both the teams when they enter the Dubai International Cricket Stadium later today. According to the rules, the winner of the Qualifier 1 between the two top teams will directly qualify for the final, while the losing team would get another chance to make amends. The losing team would face the winner of the eliminator between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators in Qualifier 2 of the PSL at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
