Suspects arrested over rape, filming of minor girls in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: Police on Friday arrested two suspects accused raping and filming underage girls in Gujranwala.

The suspects, identified as Rashid and Tariq Shah are accused of being involved in filming the rape of more than six underage girls.

Police registered a case against the accused to initiate investigation, while the victims’ families staged a protest and demanded justice.

On the other hand, Deputy Investigation General West Amir Farooqi revealed that a four-member gang involved in similar activities has been arrested from Samnabad area Karachi.

The police recovered videos and photographs of abused women who were conned by fake employment promised. A case has been registered at the Samnabad police station against the accused.
