Sir: No less a dignitary than visiting Imam-e-Kaaba, Dr Al-Sheikh Saleh bin Muhammad al-Talib has said he is very pleased to know that Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif is working hard for the people, due to which the whole province is progressing. He wished the Punjabi government and people more successes in the future. The Imam-e-Kaaba praised the CM when he called on him during his visit in Lahore the other day. According to reports in the newspapers, the Imam appreciated the CM for his unmatched development projects in the historical city of Lahore, as well as the rest of the province. He had visited the city last year, and noticed the progress taking place and has found even more development during his current visit. Various people had told him about the untiring efforts of Shahbaz Sharif for the welfare and development of the masses at large. His hard work has made him a great asset to all the citizens of Pakistan. The visiting dignitary further remarked that the strength of Pakistan is the strength of Saudi Arabia, and the power of Saudi Arabia is the power of Pakistan. The CM quite rightly and forcefully responded by saying that both the countries have helped each other over the years during the crisis. Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations are in the best interests of both countries. Saudi Arabia has always supported Pakistan during both easy and difficult times.
