GUJRANWALA: Three labourers received electric shocks while working at a house in WAPDA Town, Gujranwala. It was reported that Ashir, Ejaz and Irfan were busy white washing the house when they suddenly touched a defective wire. As a result, they received burn injuries and were rushed to the District Headquarter Hospital by Rescue 1122 team from where they were shifted to Lahore owing to their critical condition. Six accused of human trafficking, electricity theft arrested: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) teams have arrested six accused involved in human trafficking and electricity theft in Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin and Sialkot. FIA Deputy Director Mufakhir Adeel told that accused Mudassar Shahzad, Aftab Ali, Muhammad Nazir and Malik Waris were involved in human trafficking while the accused Muhammad Akram and Zeeshan were caught red handed stealing electricity. Policeman caught taking bribe: A police constable was caught red handed receiving bribe from a woman in Narowal. It was discovered that a woman Rehan Nawab gave an application to anti corruption that police constable Makhdom Sajjad of city police station was demanding bribe from her to register a case. On the application, anti-corruption circle officer conducted a raid and arrested the police constable when he was receiving bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant.
