Sir: Recent incidents, such as the throwing of black ink on the PML-N’s Khawaja Asif and shoe throwing at former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif are highly condemnable. While even I am not happy with the way PML-N has been running things in this country, protests against them have to be non-invasive and non-violent. Throwing ink and shoes is just thuggery, nothing more. If these people have something to say about the government, they should protest on the streets, through social media, and use the services of newspapers such as this one. All politicians must condemn these incidents. Those who encourage or ignore such incidents today will become victims of the same kind of criminality tomorrow.
