DADU: Doctors and paramedical staff boycotted all the wards and Out Patient Departments of the Civil Hospital, Dadu for a third consecutive day on Saturday to protest against Sindh government for torturing protesting doctors and for not accepting the demands of the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA). All the wards of the hospital, including children’s ward, ophthalmology ward, gynae ward, cardiology ward as well as the general and emergency wards remained closed. The paramedical staff and members of PMA also held joint protest rallies throughout the city. The rallies began from the hospital’s main gate to the Dadu Press Club. They were led by Member of Provincial Assembly local leader Dr Amjad Hussain Mastoi and paramedical staffer Raja Rafique Ahmed Panhwar. Addressing the rally, MPA Dr Amjad Hussain Mastoi said that the Sindh government was not resolving the issues of the doctors and the paramedical staff.
