ISLAMABAD: A local leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Raja Yasir Murtaza was reportedly killed in the federal capital on Friday. Police said that the body of the PTI leader Raja Yasir Murtaza, who was a union council vice chariman, was found hanging near Kinara Restaurant in Bani Gala Police Station limits. Police added that the Raja Yasir was abducted a couple of days earlier and his vehicle was found from Sadiqabad area of Rawalpindi. The deceased was first cousin of PTI Islamabad president Raja Khurram Nawaz. A case was registered against unidentified culprits. Published in Daily Times, February 24th 2018.
