Defending champions Peshawar Zalmi has invited around 13 young patients under treatment at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital(SKMCH) to watch the Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in Dubai.
The kids were invited by Peshawar Zalmi chairman Javed Afridi as part of the franchise’s #BringingBackSmiles initiative.
Peshawar Zalmi had invited young patients to watch the twenty20 tournament last year too.
“These brave kids are very close to my heart and they deserve to be happy just like other kids do,” said Afridi in a tweet.
The excited kids arrived in Dubai earlier today.
Defending champions Peshawar Zalmi will face new entrants Multan Sultan in the opening match of the PSL on Thursday.
