LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday arrested former Director General (DG) Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Ahad Cheema in Ashiana Housing Scheme scandal.
According to notification issued by the accountability bureau, Ahad Cheema was summoned by NAB to record statements regarding the case, but the former DG failed to appear before the probing committee. He was arrested from Gulberg area of the provincial capital.
The notification further added that the Punjab Land Development Company (PLDC), Lahore Casa Developers (LCD), Lahore Development Authority (LDA) among others are being investigated.
