KARACHI: City police claim to have arrested at least four suspected gangsters allegedly involved in over two dozen cases of street crimes on Monday. Meanwhile, Gulberg division police also claim to have arrested the alleged ring leader of the ‘Tala Tor’ group. The four suspects were arrested by district city police during a raid conducted on a tip-off in Nanak Wara area within the limits of Risala Police Station. The suspected arrested were later identified as Behram, Rizwan, Ismail and Aqib Ali. Their arrests were disclosed during a press conference held by District City SP Shahla Qureshi. According to her, the suspects arrested were involved in at least 25 cases of street crimes, adding that the police also recovered snatched cellphones and weapons from their possession. The cases against them were registered while further investigation was underway. Separately, Gulberg division police claim to have arrested another ring leader of the ‘Tala Tor’ group during a raid conducted on a tip-off at Samanabad area.
