Dadu: On the call of the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) leaders, Dadu district PMA office bearers, doctor’s boycotted all OPDs in Dadu, Johi, Mehar and KN-Shah hospitals for two hours against Sindh government for not promoting doctor’s scale from grades 17 to 18 and 18 to 19 grades and other basic facilities here on Monday. Strike of the doctors caused suffering to the patients and some had to be shifted to Hyderabad and Karachi hospitals in serious condition for treatment. Doctors staged demonstration inside Dadu Civil hospital and chanted slogans against district administration and Sindh government for not accepting their demands. They were led by PMA-Pakistan Medical Association Dadu district leaders Dr Amjad Huassain Mastoi, Dr Sallah ddin Lakhair, Dr Abdul Hameed Meernai, MS Dadu civil hospital Dr Abdul Razzaque Janjeo and leady doctors were present in protest. Speaking to demonstration, PMA Dadu district leader Dr Amjad Hussain Mastoi said that despite the fact that the Supreme Court of Pakistan had directed to Sindh government to upgrade scale grade 17 to 18 and 18 to 19 and other basic facilities but Sindh government was failed to follow the directions of the Supreme Court.
