Author: Staff Report

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) defending champions Peshawar Zalmi have bolstered their coaching staff just days before the third edition of the Twenty20 tournament kicks off in Dubai. Head coach Mohammad Akram will now have the assistance of legendary off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq in the dugout as a spin bowling consultant, the franchise said on Saturday. Mushtaq, who famously invented the Doosra delivery, will link up with the Zalmi in Dubai on Sunday. The 41-year-old has previously had coaching stints with the England national team but has never been employed by the Pakistan Cricket Board. The 2018 PSL kicks off in Dubai on February 22.
