Hyderabad: Citizens of Umerkot have addressed Chief Minister Sindh and other concerned officials against government lecturers and teachers who have been teaching and running private schools and colleges, demanded fair and transparent action, here on Monday. According to details a citizen of Umerkot Raja Dasrath, A. Khalique Samoon, G Murtaza, Hansraj, Mohan Lal and Yaqoob have moved an application to the Chief Minister of Sindh, Secretaries of colleges and schools, Director General and Regional Director of privately managed schools and colleges, Minister of education alleging there in that government employees including teachers, professors and lecturers have been violating rules by running and teaching in privately managed colleges and Higher Secondary Schools in the district affecting education of institutions they deployed for. They pointed out that education is a noble profession but some of these greedy persons have made it commercial. He added that most of the professors, lecturers of Government Degree College Umerkot, Govt. Girls Degree College Umerkot, and Government High School do not perform their duties and teach the poor students in their colleges contrary they have established private colleges, higher secondary schools in the city where they teach in the morning and evening to extort huge money from rich families. These private institutions include Sindh Public Higher Secondary School Umerkot owned by Ahmed Ali Khaskheli Lecturer of English Govt Boys Degree College Umerkot, another Paradise Higher Secondary School Umerkot owned by Muhammad Mubarak Kunbhar HST GHS Hyder Farm Village Muzafar Shah, and Kainaat Public Higher Secondary School Umerkot owned by Shams Rathore subject specialist, GHS Umerkot and M Haroon Kunbhar HST GHS Hyder Farm and Royal Public Higher Secondary School Umerkot, which has recently been started on 1st February 2018 owned by Ali Akbar Kunbhar, Jaidev Soothar, M uhammad Hanif Sand and Ikram KK, all of Lecturers in Govt. Colleges except Ikram KK. They pointed out those professors, lecturers including Abdul Khalique Chandio Lecturer of Chemistry, Mumtaz Ali Panhwer Lecturer of Political Science GGDC Umerkot/Kunri, Jairam Das Menghwar Lecturer of Botany /Zoology, Bhuro Mal Malhi Subject Specialist Mathematics GHSS Umerkot, Ali Akber OT GHS Bodar Farm, Ali Nawaz Bhanbhro Subject soecialist GHSS Umerkot. Anwer Ali Kunbhar teaches Chemistry JST GHS Daro Kolhi Umerkot, Muhammad Hanif Sand Lecturer of English GGDC Umerkot, Prem Kumar Menghwar Lecturer of Physics GGDC Umerkot , Ali Akber Kunbhar Assistant Prof Zoology GGDC Umerkot, Khalid Khan Pathan JST GHSS Umerkot, Muhammad Malook Kunbher Lecturer of English GBDC Umerkot , Talib Hussain Kunbhar teaches English Head Master G(Muslim) PS Umerkot , Fareed Kunbhar Lecturer of Chemistry GDC Dhoronaro/Umerkot, Muhammad Rafique Kotrio JST (Biology) GHS Hyder Farm , A Wahid Lashari PST, GPS Babu Fakir, Javed Ali Kunbhar HM GPS Vasoomal Malhi Umerkot. They teach different subjects in different private institutions. It’s the violation of rules of government employees and privately managed schools and colleges. At the same time their private institutions which are registered with Government of Sindh to run in the morning they conduct higher secondary classes in the evening too. On this complaint CM Sindh has also forwarded a letter to Director General for inquiry and action on urgent basis DG has directed Regional Director to look into the matter. Raja Dasrath told Daily Times that four months back they had also moved such application to Director General Privately Managed Schools Mansoob Ahmed Siddiqui who took action and directed to Regional Director Mirpurpur Khas to conduct inquiry. In response to first complaint Regional Director Abdul Baqi Bhanbhro had constituted a committee, but complaints were kept in dark about inquiries and no action was taken anything changed, all government lecturers kept on teaching and running private schools and colleges. Complainants expressed their grave concern that this complaint may face same fate as first application did, therefore judicial magistrate, journalist be added as a member in inquiry committee for transparent probe. Entire Sindh has been facing this menace, therefore after Umerkot such actions are needed in each district of Sindh he added. Regional Director privately managed colleges and schools Abdul Baqi Bhanbhro told Daily Times that he has received a letter of CM Sindh to look into the matter on urgent basis, in compliance of which he has formed an inquiry committee comprised of Chairman Professor Abdul Qayoom Kunbhar, Prof Mahesh and Mr Chandoo Mal who will soon conduct inquiry into the matter, if found mentioned lecturers guilty strict action would be recommended.
