HYDERABAD: Speakers in conclusion ceremony of 2-day international moot on ‘Business, Economics and Information Technology’ organised by Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Campus Dadu, University of Sindh have advocated that every university in Pakistan should establish entrepreneur center across country to promote culture of small business enterprises, to facilitate a group of select Pakistani business experts to visit Stanford University UK and other renowned world universities with excellent entrepreneur centres to study business models with an objective to replicate them in Pakistan, to invite officials of Small Business Enterprises Development Authority of Pakistan (SMEDA) to business schools at universities to gain theoretical and conceptual input to be incorporated in national policy frameworks, to set up incubation centers at all universities and technical colleges to encourage budding entrepreneurs in Pakistan, to arrange regular visits of business academicians to the business departments at the universities to develop long term university-industry linkage and introduce China Pakistan Economic Corridor related subjects in business, commerce and economics departments and institutes at universities to boost entrepreneurship in Pakistan. These proposals were forwarded by all participating national and international scholars in consensus in form of formal recommendations of this global moot. Conclusion ceremony was organised to wrap up proceedings of moot. The ceremony was presided over by Prof Dr Anwar Ali Shah G Syed, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Dadu University of Sindh. Prof Dr Nadeem Ahmed Bhatti (Canada), Dr Mehmood Shah (United Kingdom), Dr Friedrich Christian Bolhmer (Germany), Dr Mushtaq Sajid, (AJK), Dr Ehsanullah Malik (Lahore), Prof Dr Tahir Hijazi (Islamabad), Prof Amanullah (Rawalpindi) and Dr Zahida Azam Abro (Larkana) were present on the occasion. In a message read out at ceremony Prof Dr Fateh Muhammad Burfat, VC-SU congratulating organisers upon successful completion of conference stressed need for more such moots in continuation on regular basis to ensure transfer of emerging knowledge in the thematic areas. Dr Shah informed that 360 papers were received for the moot, out of which 260 were accepted for presentation and were also included book of abstracts. He said that the conference covered almost all contemporary issues relating to theme of conference. Earlier, a plantation ceremony to perpetuate memory of conference was also carried out at University premises. Certificates and memento shields were given away to presenters, participants, members of organising committee of conference, three best paper presenters, technical session presidents, facilitators, sponsors and volunteers.
