LAHORE: Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) president Malik Tahir Javaid on Thursday stressed the need for close contact between the private sectors of Pakistan and Malaysia. He said businesses should ensure regular exchange of delegations on reciprocal basis as there was a lot to share and learn from each other. A press release issued by the chamber quoted him as expressing these views during a recent visit to Malaysia as part of an LCCI delegation. The delegation visited industrial areas in Kuala Lumpur and had B-2-B meetings with Malaysian industrialists, besides visiting large-scale manufacturing units, including auto parts, rubber, oil palm processing and manufacturing, light manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, electronics, tin mining and smelting, logging, and timber processing.
