The National Internship Program (NIP) hasn’t paid its internees since last three months. I am living in a rented house and like so many other internees, it has now become increasingly difficult to manage things on my own. Though the internees really want to learn something and gain a good experience in this program, majority of them cannot even continue it. Many of them have borrowed loans and hefty amounts to pay their bills and rents. It is my humble request to the authorities to solve the matter and ensure that the disbursement of our three months stipend so that we can continue our internship.
