ISLAMABAD: The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will hold two Int’l conferences this month to project new trends and practices in the educational field. According to a statement, this is part of the university’s concerted efforts to get acquainted its students and the faculty’s members with the new academic developments taking place in various disciplines. “They will be able to interact with foreign academicians to learn from their knowledge and experience in the relevant fields.” The university has organised as many as 28 national and international conferences and seminars during the last three years. Besides, 17 research journals were published in difference disciplines on the initiative of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shahid Siddiqui. Published in Daily Times, February 3rd 2018.
