LAHORE: In the past few days, not one but two to three workshops and big welcome parties were held in Lahore and Karachi, where internationally acclaimed hair and beauty experts flew to Pakistan all the way from the UK, to bring to the desi clientele, modern everyday hair trends, that one could embrace and look stylish. The first of these events was held in Lahore, where Gary France and Max Lamparter flanked by Shammal Qureshi of Toni & Guy, conducted a workshop and a soft launch where they styled models with the latest hair trends, with products by Label M. These are experts who have worked diligently at London Fashion Week . They conducted the workshop to educate the stylist community about international trends and how they can be incorporated into the local fashion landscape The hair experts took their time in putting forth looks that were praiseworthy in terms of instant styling, very chic and truly distinct from what we have ever seen before. Where normally, our stylist would take his/her time and put us through the drill of long hours, to achieve that specific look we asked for, these experts took only minutes. With the New Year already here with most of us abiding by our resolutions, these were some of the looks that should indeed go hand in hand with our makeover plans. Some of the looks were short front bangs, tousled hair and curly short looks with statement bold makeup for some and minimal for others. Both the Lahore and the Karachi workshops and soft launches were attended in full by all the leading media personalities, stylists and journalists.
