ISLAMABAD: The National History and Literary Heritage Division has helped in installation of the state-of-the-art new computerised braille printing machine at the National Book Foundation (NBF) for visually impaired persons, said an official statement of the foundation. While addressing the launching ceremony, Irfan Siddiqui, Advisor to Prime Minister on National History and Literary Heritage, said: “We had gathered here for the noble cause of giving modern braille printing machine to the NBF.” In his remarks, Engineer Amir Hassan, secretary National History and Literature Heritage Division, said that The National Book Foundation had been working vigorously in connection with Braille Boxes, publishing books and The Holy Quran for hundreds of thousands of blind people.
