Gujranwala: Federal minister for law Chaudhary Mehmood Bashir Virk said that some groups are creating unrest in the public by blocking roads in the name of protest, Islam did not allow anyone to violate the basic rights of any citizen, and if someone throws stones at the police then the police have a right to defend themselves. While talking to the media here at press club Gujranwala, Mehmood Bashir Virk further said that Pir Hameed ud Din Sialvi should drop the agitation and solve the issue through dialogue He said that in view of the challenges being faced by the country, all the political and religious powers should show solidarity and unity to face the conspiracies against the country. While criticizing the Imran Khan, the minister said besides abusing the parliaments Imran Khan is still receiving salary from the same parliament. FIA arrest human traffickers: FIA authorities have arrested 14 accused involved in fraud, selling products with fake monograms and human trafficking here on Saturday. Deputy Director Mufakhir Adeel said that accused Abdul Basit and his wife Sajida were involved in bank fraud. Accused, Naveed Hussain and Muhammad Sarfraz were selling their products by using the monogram of a national brand. Meanwhile FIA teams have also arrested ten human traffickers by conducting raids at Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial, Phalia and Gujrat. These human traffickers including Muhammad Amir, Asghar Ali, Amanat, Zeeshan , Qadir Ahmed, Umer Hayyat and others were wanted to FIA for the last five years. Police ASI and a revenue officer arrested while receiving bribes: Police ASI and a revenue official were held red handed while receiving bribes here, from Hafizabad and Gujrat. It was stated that Gulshan Bibi resident of Gujrat submitted an application to the anti-corruption that ASI Shaheen Chowk police station Etrat Abbas is demanding Rs 10 thousand bribe for the release her husband. Elderly woman dies due to burns caused by a short circuit: An elderly woman died as a result of a fire here at Hafizabad Road Gujranwala. It was stated that Maqbool Bibi 80 years old was sleeping in the room when fire erupted due to a short circuit, Maqbool received burn injuries and was rushed to DHQ hospital where she died.
