LAHORE: An unprovoked fire across the Line of Control (LoC) resulted in the martyrdom of four soldiers of Pakistan Army in Kashmir Monday morning. “Four Pakistan Army soldiers embraced martyrdom along LoC in Jandrot, Kotli sector. Troops were busy in line communication maintenance, when they were fired upon and hit by heavy mortar round. Exchange of fire killed three Indian soldiers while few were injured,” according to a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations. The firing left all four soldiers dead. According to the ISPR, the Pakistan Army responded to the attack and killed three Indian soldiers and injured many others. Moreover, on Monday, the Indian army martyred six Kashmiri youth, claiming that they were militants attempting to cross over into Indian held Kashmir.
