PESHAWAR: Taking serious notice of the lack of interest by officials of Revenue the Department in Peshawar and Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Secretary Muhammad Azam Khan on Tuesday directed the Revenue Department to arrange the orientation sessions afresh at all divisional headquarters of the province. CS Muhammad Azam Khan also instructed the authorities of Revenue department to ensure the attendance of all concerned from Commissioner to patwari. The representatives of revenue department will begin visiting seven divisional headquarters of the province, namely Peshawar, Mardan, Hazara, Kohat, Bannu, Malakand and Dera Ismail Khan from Wednesday till 20 December 2017. The aim of these orientation sessions is to fast track the revenue matters disposal to facilitate public at large. In this regard detailed guidlines and SOPs were devised by Board of Revenue Khyber pakhtonkhwa .These sessions are meant to explain these guidlines to the revenue hierarchy right from commissioner at the top to patwari at the bottom. All have been instructed to personally attend the sessions. The basic point is to facilitate the public and spare them the agony of waiting for years and running from office to office.
