LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Shraif damaged the interest of the country for his personal interest.

Addressing a rally in Chishtian on Sunday, he said Nawaz can reconcile with anyone for the concealment of his looted money.

Imran also accused PML-N Chief of putting image of army and Supreme Court at stake.

“Nawaz can make any compromise to save his corruption,” he said.

“Nawaz pushed the country into trouble for saving Rs 300 billion which he stole from the public,” Imran said, adding that PTI would bring the looted money back after coming into power.

“IG police sits in front of Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif like a servant,” he claimed and added that PTI would recruit police personnel on merit basis.

He also accused Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif of signing a fake contract with a company in Dubai and getting Rs 1.6 million from that company.

“A foreign minister can not work for anyone else while holding a public office,” he added.

He urged NAB chief to re-open Hudaibiya Paper Mills case against the Sharif family.

During his speech, he also thanked the people of Chishtian for their warm welcome today.
