LAHORE: The website of Cinepax was on Thursday temporarily hacked. A white screen appeared that read: “CinePax Cinema Got HacKed By Team Pak Cyber Attackers”. A “Faisal_1337” left his postscript on the hacked page. “Secure [your] server” and “Respect Us Or Expect Us,” it further read. Cinepax General Manager Mohsin Yaseen, the website’s server has been compromised and is being restored. Cinepax has screens in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Murree and Hyderabad, with more screens in planning for Faisalabad, Multan and Islamabad.
