LAHORE: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has fined Hassan Ali, for making improper gestures during a match played between Comilla Victorians and Dhaka Dynamites on Monday. Hassan, recruited by Comilla Victorians for BPL, made a gesture to show Dynamites player Mosaddek Hossain the way to the dressing room, after dislodging the batsman’s wickets. Considering it improper, the empires penalized him with a fine of 30 percent of his total match fee. “Ali was fined 25 percent of his match fees after he was found to have breached Article 2.1.7 of the BCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batsman upon his dismissal during a match,” a statement issued by BCB said. No hearing was required as Hassan confessed to their mistakes.
