Youth Growth and Empowerment

November 2, 2025 by Shahbaz Ali Anjum

In this great walk of life, the things that the youth of the nation need to know are in dire need of their grooming and learning in the digital era. Well-groomed young minds equipped with training represent one of the most prominent and powerful assets for any nation. Across the world, there are more than 1.2 billion youth aged 15 to 24. In our beloved country, there is more than 60% of the population under the age of 30, which makes Pakistan the youngest nation in South Asia. Strong, academically and skilful youth of any nation potentially drive the economic growth, innovation, and social transformation. If the young minds are equipped with quality education, skill sets, mental well-being, and have the aptitudes towards social welfare services and the well-being of the people, then the nations can be proud of such individuals. The youth having such traits are capable of leading Pakistan in the true spirit. Their potential, innovation and creativity, patriotism, and resilience approach are the signs of hope. The key areas of learning for the young minds are as follows:

Contemplation and pondering: In this technological era, the young minds need to know that they have only one chance at this thing called life. Gratitude in life is the most important thing to focus on what they have and not what they lack. The successful people in this world are not much smarter than the youth of this current era; whatever the great people have built, they have built dreams that changed the world. The difference was not brilliance and luck; it was just courage, bravery, and the initiatives they have taken. The comfort of their life might feel safe, but this would never lead them where they were meant to go.

Sometimes, you have to lose the map and find yourself

Nurturing the Young Minds: Nurturing the youth in terms of academic, social, and spiritual levels is the need of the present era that leads them towards empowerment, confidence, and motivates them to thrive in an evolving technological world. The youth of the great nation must be spiritually grounded, morally upright, and intellectually curious, guided by a strong sense of purpose. The young minds of the nation must be equipped with digital skills, innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship.

Belief in Yourself: Youth must believe in their abilities and the unfolding vision. Sometimes, you have to lose the map and find yourself. The belief that no one has a vision like yours would be your superpower. You must fall in love with the process you are going through -the messy, uncertain, unglamorous middle. No one is clapping, except for you, who believes the great story still matters.

Constant Struggle: Growth and empowerment a constant struggle and process that requires high willpower, commitment, dedication, and commitment by the youth. In addition, there is a need to focus on spiritual, academic, mental well-being, and social growth.

Self-actualisation: The youth of Pakistan must realise that they are not the leader of tomorrow; they have the potential and strength of today. They have to build their dreams brick by fragile brick, even when they are facing frightful obstacles in their way. They have to be courageous and understand that the applause fades, but meaning lasts. They have to walk away from the places, people, and even versions of themselves that no longer fit.

Sound Character: The young minds believe in their power and ability to shape the world. They must learn something and invest in their character, because true success and grace do not lie in talent, but in integrity, honesty, discipline, moral strength, and consistency. They must serve with compassion, which is the highest form of leadership to serve others.

Big Dreams: Young minds must have big dreams and high willpower to achieve great success. They must realise that they are brave enough to dream big and achieve big. In addition, they must rise with unity, as it is said; united we rise, divided we fall. They must give the values to the unity instead of their belief, background, and identity; they can overcome any frightful obstacles and challenges in achieving their dreams.

Responsibilities of Top Stakeholders: The top stakeholders of the country must unlock the potential of the young minds. They must consider them the true assets of the beloved country. The youth can be emerging as leaders, innovators, and change makers who are truly proud of their land, heritage, confident in their abilities, and rooted in values of compassion and empathy.

Moon and Eagle: May the youth of our beloved country always shine brightly like a moon, and fly high like an eagle, as this bird has great traits and lives mostly in the air, stay at the peak of the mountains, and remain always in struggle and high grace.

The great poet of the subcontinent, Allama Iqbal, used the word Shaheen symbolically for this king of the bird. May the young minds grow well, rock well, shine, and live with high grace.
