Pakistani celebrities’ social media accounts begin reappearing in India

(Web Desk) – Pakistani celebrities are slowly making a comeback on Indian social media as some Instagram and YouTube accounts have started to reappear for users in India, bringing joy to fans.

Popular actors like Yumna Zaidi, Ahad Raza Mir, and Danish Taimoor are now once again visible on Instagram in India. Their return has sparked excitement online, especially among followers who had missed their content.

However, the restoration is still partial. Prominent names such as Hania Aamir, Mahira Khan, and Fawad Khan remain blocked on Indian platforms. Their fans continue to express hope for a complete return soon.

Alongside Instagram, several YouTube channels that broadcast Pakistani dramas are now accessible again. This has allowed Indian viewers to resume watching their favorite shows without using VPNs or alternate sources.

The ban began in April 2025 after a terror attack in Pahalgam. In response, India restricted access to social media content from Pakistan, including artists’ accounts and entertainment channels.

Although some restrictions are easing, many wonder if this signals a gradual policy shift. For now, the partial comeback is being celebrated as a small but meaningful step toward cultural connection.
