Grand closing ceremony of Sui Northern Badminton Tournament 2025

The first All Pakistan Ranking Badminton Tournament 2025, organized by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), concluded on a high note. The tournament witnessed participation from prominent teams across the country, including Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan Army, WAPDA, Police, Railways, POF Wah, and Sui Northern Gas.

In the Men’s Singles category, Irfan Saeed secured the title, while Mohammad Ali Larosh finished as runner-up.

In the Women’s Singles, Amara Ishtiaq emerged victorious, with Alja Tariq securing the runner-up position.

In the Men’s Doubles event, the duo of Raja Zulqarnain and Mohammad Ali Larosh clinched first place, while Aamir Saeed and Mohammad Adnan stood as runners-up.

In the Women’s Doubles, Ghazala Siddique and Amara Ishtiaq won the top spot, followed by Zubaira Islam and Umama Usman as runners-up. The closing ceremony was graced by Mr. Saqib Arbab, Deputy Managing Director (Operations), SNGPL, who attended as the Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the top-performing athletes. Also present at the occasion were Mr. Imtiaz Mehmood, President Sports / Senior General Manager, and Mr. Muhammad Arshad, Vice President / General Manager.

Addressing the ceremony, DMD Saqib Arbab commended the players’ commitment, passion, and the high standards of the tournament. He reaffirmed SNGPL’s dedication to continue supporting and organizing such prestigious and high-quality sports events in the future to promote healthy and positive activities across the country.
