The Speaker of Sindh Assembly Syed Awais Qadir Shah on Monday said that the Parliament is the true voice of democracy, transparency, and public aspirations. In his message on the occasion of International Day of Parliamentarism, he said that a strong parliament ensures rule of law and protect human rights .He said that strengthening democratic institutions is essential for national progress. Shah said that protecting parliamentary autonomy and democratic values is a collective responsibility. Young parliamentarians are playing a vital role in legislation and addressing public issues , he said adding that inter-parliamentary dialogue is essential for regional peace, development, and cooperation. The Speaker said that public participation and transparent legislation are the foundation of a vibrant parliament. He said that Pakistan’s Parliament is committed to global peace, democracy, and sustainable development. Shah said that empowering youth through parliamentary initiatives is the need of the hour. He said we must prioritize national interest and make Parliament a true centre of public welfare.
