Unlocking Possibilities

In a province where history runs deep and ambition runs high, a new city is beginning to take shape – not just with bricks and mortar, but with care, opportunity, and a shared sense of purpose. Ravi City, Pakistan’s largest and most ambitious sustainable urban development, is poised to become a transformative project that blends modern living with world-class healthcare and educational facilities. Envisioned as a green city, Ravi City focuses on sustainability, safety, and prosperity. Its prime location is set to become a hub for advanced medical services while fostering opportunities for quality education and social mobility.

A significant dialogue will take place on June 25, 2025, bringing together voices from both the public and private sectors to discuss the urban development of Ravi City, with a special focus on healthcare and education. This dialogue marks a key milestone in the urbanization of Ravi City – a mega flagship project of the Government of Punjab that aims to lay a strong foundation for inclusive and people-focused development.

Envisioned as a green city, Ravi City focuses on sustainability, safety, and prosperity.

This transformative event is being organized in collaboration with the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) and is patronised by the Ministry of Housing, Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department (HUD & PHED). These efforts are deeply aligned with the Chief Minister’s vision for health and education, highlighting their vital role in Punjab’s progress.

The development of Ravi City also reflects the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, who is committed to building a healthy, sustainable, and prosperous province. Her focus extends beyond infrastructure, aiming to empower citizens through accessible healthcare and meaningful educational opportunities. Her approach emphasizes quality over quantity and advocates for human-centric development – a society where every individual has access to essential services and the chance to lead a better life.

CEO RUDA, Imran Amin, emphasized that the ultimate goal is to build a city where citizens can live safely, stay healthy, and benefit from opportunities for social and economic advancement. He stated that this event would help pave the way for a more sustainable future for Lahore. Moreover, COO RUDA, Mansoor Ahmed Janjua, added that he views the dialogue as a critical step toward making Ravi City the new face of Lahore – a city defined by modern infrastructure, improved quality of life, and long-term economic potential.

Chairman RUDA, Shahid Ashraf Tarar, also shared his perspective on the upcoming event. He described Ravi City as a project with the potential to become a magnet for investment and innovation, not just within Punjab, but across Pakistan.

As one of Punjab’s flagship projects, Ravi City stands as a beacon of innovation and sustainability, strategically positioned to become a hub of world-class healthcare and forward-thinking educational institutions. The upcoming event is more than a meeting of stakeholders – it is a moment where vision becomes action. Ultimately, the event is expected to unlock a breadth of opportunities for both Ravi City and Lahore, with sustainable growth rooted in the core pillars of healthcare and education.
