LAHORE: Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) on Saturday sent its six shinning students from different districts to China for a three year diploma programme. In this regard a ceremony was held at the TEVTA Secretariat which was presided over by TEVTA Chairman Irfan Qaiser Shiekh. Addressing the ceremony, the chairman said that students would study three-year automation electrical diploma at Tianjin Technical College, which is among the world’s top colleges providing technical education. He said that Tianjin Education Commission had provided the scholarship to shinning students having more than 80 percent marks. He went on to say that scholarship included tuition fee and accommodation charges; however, travel expenses would be borne by the TEVTA.
