Nawaz Sharif returns to Pakistan after two-week UK medical visit

Former Prime Minister and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif is set to return to Pakistan today after spending two weeks in the UK for regular medical check-ups. During his stay in London, he remained in good spirits and engaged with party supporters.

At a recent luncheon held in his honor, Nawaz Sharif praised the current government led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He emphasized that there is no difference between them, stating, “We are one,” highlighting unity within the party.

Addressing the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict, Nawaz Sharif expressed strong support for Iran. He called Iran not just a neighbor but a brotherly country with deep religious and cultural ties to Pakistan. He added that Pakistan’s stance on this issue is based on principle.

Nawaz Sharif also spoke about India’s recent aggression, saying it faced serious consequences. He praised Pakistan’s strong military and national unity, which helped protect the country and embarrass India’s leadership.

Furthermore, Nawaz Sharif clarified that Pakistan’s military strength is strictly for defense, not offense. He urged continued national unity during these challenging times and appreciated the valuable support of overseas PML-N members.

As Nawaz Sharif returns home, his visit underscores the importance of health, unity, and a strong stance on regional issues for Pakistan’s future.
