Nawaz Sharif says Pakistan back on track with economic progress

LONDON – Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan’s economy is once again moving in the right direction, with clear signs of recovery and development.

While addressing the media in London, Nawaz praised the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, stating that both leaders are working hard to resolve public issues and improve governance.

He emphasized that the government is placing strong focus on essential sectors such as health and education. “We are building hospitals for heart and cancer treatment to provide better care to our people,” he added.

Nawaz Sharif highlighted that Pakistan is steadily returning to the path of growth. He credited Shehbaz Sharif for laying the groundwork for progress and said Maryam Nawaz is carrying that vision forward.

Moreover, he pointed out that the Punjab government has presented a tax-free budget worth Rs5,335 billion. Significant allocations have been made for health and education, which are key to long-term national development.

The PML-N supremo concluded by expressing confidence in the leadership of both Shehbaz and Maryam, stating that their combined efforts will help Pakistan overcome challenges and move toward a brighter future.
