Children of police officers receive recognition

In line with the vision of Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, District Police Officer (DPO) Layyah, Muhammad Ali Wasim, continues to promote the welfare and morale of police personnel and their families. In a heartening gesture, he honored the children of Sub-Inspector Inam-ul-Haq for their exceptional performance in both religious education and academics.

All four children of Sub-Inspector Inam-ul-Haq have achieved the remarkable milestone of memorizing the Holy Quran before the age of 10. Among them, Hafiza Seerat Fatima not only completed Hifz but also secured a top position in Pakistan in online STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education competitions, bringing pride to her family and the police force.

The other children – Qurat-ul-Ain, Muhammad Hasnat, and Taha Hussain – were also specially appreciated at the DPO Office for their dedication and achievements. DPO Muhammad Ali Wasim personally awarded them with certificates of appreciation and praised their hard work and excellence.

Speaking at the occasion, DPO Wasim commended Sub-Inspector Inam-ul-Haq for providing such commendable upbringing and instilling both religious and academic values in his children. He reiterated the department’s commitment to supporting the educational and personal growth of police personnel’s children. “Such bright and talented children are the future of our nation, and it is our duty to encourage and support them at every step,” he stated.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar’s efforts toward employee welfare have been widely recognized across the province. Under his leadership, a substantial focus has been placed on educational empowerment. In the first five months of this year alone, scholarships amounting to Rs. 292,746,292 have been distributed among the children of police employees across Punjab.

Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized, “Educating the children of our police force through scholarships is one of my top priorities. We want to ensure that the families who serve the nation with dedication are provided every possible opportunity for growth and success.”

This initiative reflects the Punjab Police’s commitment not only to law enforcement but also to the well-being and advancement of its force and their families.
