Hollywood star Brad Pitt has hinted at a possible future collaboration with Tom Cruise—but only under one clear condition. While promoting his upcoming movie F1, Pitt shared that he won’t be taking part in any extreme stunts like Cruise is known for.
Speaking to E! News, Pitt joked, “Well, I’m not gonna hang my a** off airplanes and s*** like that, so when he does something again that’s on the ground.” His light-hearted comment sparked buzz about a potential reunion of the two iconic stars.
The pair last shared the screen in 1994’s Interview with the Vampire, a gothic horror-fantasy film that became a cult classic. Since then, both actors have taken very different paths—Cruise often embracing dangerous stunts, while Pitt has opted for more grounded roles.
Director Joseph Kosinski, who has worked with both actors, compared their styles in a recent interview with GQ. He noted that Cruise pushes himself to the extreme, often making stunt teams nervous, while Pitt remains calm and self-aware about his limits.
Kosinski added, “Tom pushes it to the limit. It terrifies me. But Brad knows his abilities. He’d be the first to say, ‘Yeah, I’m not going to do that.’” His insight further highlights the contrasting approaches the two stars bring to action films.
Fans eager to see Pitt in action won’t have to wait long—his new racing film F1, directed by Kosinski, is set to hit cinemas on June 27, 2025. Whether Cruise and Pitt will ever team up again remains uncertain, but Pitt’s condition leaves the door open—if the action stays firmly on the ground.
