Houthi leader calls for muslim unity against Israeli attacks on Iran

June 15, 2025 — Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement, has strongly condemned Israel’s recent attacks on Iran and urged the Muslim world to unite in defense of any Muslim country targeted by Israel.

Speaking in a televised address from Sanaa, al-Houthi expressed deep condolences to Iran’s leadership and people over the loss of lives and damage caused by Israeli strikes. He reaffirmed full support for Iran’s retaliatory campaign, known as Operation Vada-e-Sadiq 3.

He emphasized that Muslims worldwide must recognize their shared interest in resisting aggression. According to him, the attack on Iran was not just a military act but an open display of “criminal arrogance” by Israel and its Western allies.

The Houthi leader praised Iran’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, which he said is the real reason behind the Zionist regime’s hostility. He warned that ignoring the risks of attacks near nuclear facilities like Natanz could have led to a radiation disaster.

Furthermore, he called on all Arab and Muslim governments to condemn Israel’s actions clearly and resist Western pressure to soften their stance. He stressed that bowing to Israel would result in disgrace, both in this world and the hereafter.

Finally, al-Houthi warned that Western powers might actively support Israel against Iran, urging Muslim nations to stand firm. He stated that Iran’s victory in this conflict would strengthen the entire Muslim world and advance the Palestinian cause.
