Grand mess night, musical evening held at Police Training College

A vibrant Mess Night and Musical Program was organized last night at the Police Training College (PTC) Shahdadpur, marking a celebration of the passing-out cadets and showcasing their multifaceted talents. The event featured a variety of competitions including cycling, painting, drawing, naat recitation, singing, speech, and essay writing, with enthusiastic participation from the trainees. The cadets displayed great energy and passion, and winners were awarded prizes for their outstanding performances. Principal and SSP of Police Training College Shahdadpur, Ms. Zahida Parveen, was the chief guest of the event. She distributed prizes among the successful candidates and, in her address, encouraged the newly trained cadets to serve with dedication and integrity. She emphasized the importance of their role in boosting police morale, combating crime and social evils, and fostering a positive outlook in society. The musical segment featured a soulful performance by renowned Sindhi Sufi singer Manjhi Faqeer, who captivated the audience with traditional Sufi kalam. The evening concluded with a lively presentation of the famous Sindhi folk song “Ho Jamalo”, adding a festive touch to the program. The event ended on a high note with best wishes for the cadets embarking on their professional journey in the police force.
