The Sindh Government is actively implementing a series of high-impact development and investment initiatives aimed at transforming the province into a regional economic hub. According to Mustafa Abdullah Baloch, Spokesperson for the Sindh Government, these efforts are being carried out under the progressive economic vision of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Several flagship projects are currently in progress, including Education City, Marble City, the Dhabeji Special Economic Zone (SEZ), and the Sindh Enterprise Development Fund. These initiatives are strategically designed to enhance industrial capacity, attract domestic and foreign investment, and create meaningful employment opportunities across Sindh.
Education City is envisioned as a knowledge and innovation hub, offering world-class academic and research facilities to promote human capital development.
Marble City will leverage Sindh’s natural mineral resources to develop a value-added stone and marble industry with strong export potential.
The Dhabeji SEZ, a priority project under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), will serve as a major industrial zone, providing investors with modern infrastructure and close proximity to Karachi’s ports.
The Sindh Enterprise Development Fund is supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs), agribusinesses, and startups through access to finance and institutional support.
The Sindh Government is also taking concrete steps to improve the ease of doing business, modernize infrastructure, and foster a business-friendly regulatory environment. These efforts are part of a long-term strategy to position Sindh as a driver of national economic progress.
“These projects are a direct reflection of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s commitment to a progressive and economically vibrant Sindh,” said Mustafa Abdullah Baloch. “Our focus is on sustainable development that benefits all segments of society and strengthens the province’s contribution to the national economy.”
The government remains committed to inclusive growth, public-private partnerships, and innovation-led development, ensuring that Sindh remains at the forefront of Pakistan’s economic future.
