Popular Pakistani actor and model Hamza Ali Abbasi has shared his thoughts on his past involvement with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and his current political stance. In a recent interview, Hamza opened up about various topics, including his political journey and views on Pakistan’s current situation.
Hamza clarified that he was only part of a movement, not a career politician. He revealed that when Imran Khan appointed him as PTI’s Secretary of Culture, he had refused a long-term political role. “I told him at the time that I won’t pursue politics in the future,” Hamza explained.
During the podcast, host Mubashir Hashmi asked Hamza about the current political scenario. In response, the actor gave a thoughtful opinion. He said the situation has gone too far and suggested that both those who went to jail and those who sent others to jail should step back a little. He stressed the need for compromise and mutual understanding to resolve the crisis.
Hamza also remarked that while the country’s condition is still manageable, it could deteriorate if tensions continue. He emphasized that long-term stability requires unity and cooperation from all sides.
Previously known for his strong support of PTI, Hamza now appears to be taking a more neutral and peace-focused approach. He continues to speak on national issues with clarity but maintains that politics is not his chosen career path.
