Sindh Madressatul islam University, an Alma-Mater of Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah organised a walk on Thursday to show unwavering solidarity with Pakistan’s Armed Forces and against Indian aggression, attack on innocent civilians of Pakistan and unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty. The walk started from the Main Building of the university and ended at its I.T. Tower. The walk was led by Acting Vice Chancellor SMIU Prof. Dr. Zahid Ali Channar, Dean Dr. Aftab Ahmed Shaikh, Advisor to the Vice Chancellor on Academics Dr. Abdul Hafeez Khan, Director Students Affairs Muhammad Naeem Ahmed and Registrar Ghulam Mustafa Shaikh. Other participants were heads of administrative and academic departments, faculty members, other employees and students. The participants raised slogans in support of Pakistan and Armed Forces and against Indian aggression and its attacks on Pakistani territory. They pledged that every citizen of Pakistan will safeguard its country and will fight against the enemy. Dr. Zahid Ali Channar said Sindh Madressatul Islam University stands with Armed Forces and the entire nation and condemn coward attacks of India on civilian population of Pakistan. He further said that peace loving countries of the world including UNO must condemn Indian aggression and attacks on Pakistan and impose sanctions on it as it has started war with Pakistan by taking refuge in a false allegation of Pahalgam attack. He also said the academicians of the world, enlightened citizens and nations must condemn India for its aggression and attacks on Pakistan. Larkana Similar to the rest of the country, the people of Larkana took to the streets against Indian aggression and brutality, chanting slogans “Modi Murdabad” (Down with Modi) and setting fire to an effigy of Modi on Thursday. A protest rally was organized by the Golden Group Friends on Station Road in Larkana to condemn Indian aggression and express solidarity with the Pakistan Army. The rally marched through various city streets and culminated at Jinnah Bagh Chowk, where protesters waved national flags and vociferously chanted slogans such as “Long live the Pakistan Army,” “Long live Pakistan,” “Down with India,” and “Modi Murdabad.” Demonstrators also burned an effigy of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Leaders spearheading the protest, including Dr. Ahmed Ali Sheikh, social activist Zulqarnain Sial, Liaquat Ali Abro, Jameel Chandio, Safdar Brohi, and Tariq Malgati, paid tribute to the bravery of the Pakistan Army. They stated that the military remains vigilant at the borders 24/7 to defend the nation and protect its people. The speakers emphasized that the Pakistani nation stands shoulder-to-shoulder with its courageous armed forces and possesses the full capability to decisively counter any aggression, a fact proven by the Pakistan Army’s actions. They asserted that India’s “thief-like attacks” under the cover of darkness exposed its fear of Pakistan. However, the Pakistan Army has responded resolutely, delivering a befitting reply to India. Tandojam A rally in support of the Pakistan Armed Forces was held on Thursday at Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) Tandojam, led by Vice Chancellor Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal. The rally passed through various departments of the university, showing strong support for the armed forces. Participants strongly condemned India’s cowardly aggression under the cover of darkness and lauded the effective response by Pakistan’s military leadership. They also expressed full confidence in both the military and political leadership of the country. Addressing the rally participants, Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal and other speakers paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces for defending the nation’s borders and vowed that Pakistan’s sovereignty would not be compromised. Speakers declared the sacrifices of the armed forces for the homeland as unforgettable and condemned Indian aggression in the strongest terms. They stated that Pakistan’s strong military leadership had always given a firm response to any hostility. “Thanks to our armed forces, the nation is secure. India must know that every Pakistani stands shoulder to shoulder with their army,” said Dr. Siyal.
