Gold prices witnessed a significant rise both in Pakistan and on the international bullion market. On Friday, the price of gold increased by $21 per ounce globally, reaching $2,661. This surge led to a corresponding jump in local gold prices. In Pakistan’s local markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola rose by Rs 2,100, reaching Rs 277,300. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 1,800, reaching Rs 237,740

In contrast, silver prices remained unchanged, with the price of 1 tola silver holding steady at Rs 3,400 and 10 grams of silver priced at Rs 2,914.95 This increase comes after a dip in gold prices the previous day, when the international price of gold had fallen by $7, reaching $2,640. As a result, local markets had experienced a decrease of 700 rupees, with the price of 1 tola gold dropping to Rs 275,200.
