Robbers rule Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: Citizens were deprived of cash, gold ornaments, vehicles and other valuables in 27 hits on Wednesday.

In Saddar Wazirabad police station limit bandits looted Rs 35,000, gold ornaments and two cell phones, in Aroop town area robbers snatched Rs 33,000 three cell phones from Khusi Muhammad, at Wahndo Noor Ahmed was deprived of Rs 40,000 locket set and two cell phones at gunpoint, on Jinnah Road dacoits took away Rs 11,000 applied for motorcycle from Asif, in Cantt armed men intercepted Fayyaz and deprived him of Rs 25,000 three cell phones, gold chain and gold ring, in Saddar Kamoki area robbers snatched Rs 60,000 two cell phones and gold ornaments from Shabbir, in Gakhar Mandi bandits looted Rs 42,000 two cell phones from Qasim, in Sadar police limits armed men snatched Rs 70,000 locket set and three cell phones from Sohail, in Tatlewali dacoits took away Rs 60,000 gold chain and cell phone from Tanvir, in Sohdra armed men intercepted Haji Javed and looted Rs 40,000, gold ornaments and cell phones, in Nowshera Virkan robbers looted Rs 108,000 three cell phones from Asim, in Dhulely bandits snatched Rs 30,000 and two cell phones, in peoples colony area Jaffer was deprived of Rs 47,000, cell phone and gold chain on gun point, at Ferozewala dacoits looted Rs 20,000, two cell phones, gold ring from Youns, in Sadar armed men snatched Rs 18,000 two cell phones from Tayyab, at Ahmed Nagar bandits looted Rs 15,000 locket set and two cell phones from Jehangir, in Cantt swindlers took away Rs 22,000 cell phone and gold ornaments from a woman, in city Kamoki area Najjam was deprived of Rs 15,000 cell phone at gunpoint, in Nowshera Virkan police limits armed men snatched Rs 28,000 two cell phones and gold ornaments from Mehak, in theft incidents thieves took away cash, gold ornaments, and other valuables from the houses and shops of Jamil, Sheikh Hamid, Ghazanfar and Naveed while applied for motorcycles of Amir and Sagheer were stolen from different places. Police have registered the cases.

Separately, Assistant Commissioner Adnan Shahzad sealed 8 shops and one petrol pump. Shahzad along with team raided at different parts of the city and sealed eight gas refilling shops and one petrol pump and seized cylinders and machinery.
