LAHORE: After marginalising 13,268 votes defeat in NA-120 constituency, runner up Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Dr Yasmeen Rashid vowed to take the top electoral body to Supreme Court. She said her party wanted to know what action the ECP took over numerous violations of its code of conduct by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). “We will not back out until our petitions in the ECP are settled, she added.” I’m going to take the ECP to court, she threatened. Citing, missing voter’s record in the ECP data, beleaguered PTI leader said the ECP should held accountable as some 29,000 votes happen to be controversial and no official results should be announced until these are cleared,” she upheld. She pointed out, “Government’s machinery, including the state-run PTV, was used in the buildup to the NA-120 polls.”
