KHAIRPUR: Three persons died and two others were injured when an oil tanker caught fire after a collision with a container truck on the National Highway in Naushahro Feroze.

The oil tanker caught fire after the collision and the three deceased are said to have died as a result of burn injuries. The police shifted the bodies and injured to Naushahro Civil Hospital.

Police fail to hunt Ghori’s kidnappers: The Ubaro police initiated a manhunt for the kidnappers of Bilawal Ghori. Ghori was kidnapped by unidentified persons at gunpoint from the Mohalla Ghori district of Ubaro. The kidnappers had made demands for ransom money from Ghori’s family via phone call. The police claim to have information regarding the kidnappers and have started a search operation.

Meanwhile, Daharki police stated that a man named Javed Bagri committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving container near the Daharki bypass bus stand. Javed’s family deny that his death was a suicide and claim he was crossing the road when he was hit by the container.

‘Criminal’ arrested: The Ghotki police arrested Guddo Shar following an encounter. The police claim to have confiscated an AK-47 from his possession. According to the district Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shar was wanted for many crimes in both Sindh and Punjab.
