Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif expressed on Friday his resolve to foster the country’s economy under the leadership of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

The PML-N senior leaders, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Rana Sanaullah, Raja Riaz, and Sardar Awais Leghari, called on Shehbaz Sharif. On the occasion, matters pertaining to the party’s organisational affairs and preparations for the general elections were underlined. Shehbaz Sharif was briefed on the PML-N’s preparation in different constituencies ahead of the polls.

Expressing his thoughts, Shehbaz Sharif asserted, “The PML-N is having an experience of providing relief to the masses and steering the country out of the quagmire.” The former prime minister underscored the potential of the country’s youth, saying, “There is a dire need to inculcate the skills and enlighten the country’s youth.” He vowed to steer the country in the right direction under the leadership of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif. “We will start again the journey of the country’s prosperity.” PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif said on Friday that his party’s victory is vital in a bid to pull the country out of the economic quagmire.

Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with former lawmakers and ticketholders in Lahore. Prominent among those who attended the meeting were Chaudhry Noorul Hasan, Riazul Haq, and Mehdi Hasan. The meeting underlined matters pertaining to the party’s organisational affairs and preparations for the upcoming elections. On this occasion, Shehbaz Sharif said: “If the PML-N is voted into power, it will be a victory for the inflation-hit masses. It is the priority of the PML-N’s agenda to foster economic growth.”

Shehbaz Sharif said: “We will provide relief to the masses by controlling inflation, the same way we addressed the problems in line with the power outages.” “It will be the golden era of the country, when it will lead towards prosperity under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif,” the former prime minister added. He urged the party leaders and workers to gear up for the general elections with verve. “With the blessings of the Higher Power, the PML-N will get success,” Shehbaz Sharif added.
