Sir: We in Pakistan believe in the following: 1. Pakistan is a signatory of the Convention against Torture of the United Nations. 2. Quaid-e-Azam called himself the protector-general of minorities. 3. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. 4. ‘Khadim-e-Aala’ considers it his foremost priority to spread education in the province. When a schoolteacher Master Abdul Qudoos, member of the Ahmadiyya community, resident of Chenab Nagar, is brutally tortured and killed in broad daylight by the very protectors of law, the Punjab police, where do we stand in the light of the above-mentioned declarations?
