Sir: How many anchors from the electronic media have actually gone to Balochistan to find out the facts and the real situation on the ground? Please allow me to say that with the proliferation of electronic journalism in Pakistan, investigative reporting and in-depth analysis has become a thing of the past. TV journalism has become a contesting ground, with anchors vying to get to the top of the ratings alone. It is time that the government seriously set some standard for the medium, lest it becomes a theatre of scandalous and undesirable content. MAJOR (RETD) FAATEH ALAM SHEIKH Lahore
